Welcome to Kherli :

Kherli primarily known as Kherli Mandi or Kherli Ganj is a small town in district Alwar of state Rajasthan. Kherli is located in Mewat region. As the word Mandi or Ganj self specify, town is known for its Krishi Upaj Mandi. Kherli is situated on latitude of 27 12 North and longitude of 77 02 East. The town is approximately 75 km in South-East from Alwar. The town is on Jaipur- Agra railway track 145 Km away form Jaipur (Pink City) and 99 Km from Agra (City of Taj Mahal). NH-11 (Agra to Bikaner) is 12 km away from the town. The town is almost 230 km in South from capital of India. Kherli is one of the oldest Municipalities of district Alwar.

By Road:
Kherli can be easily reached by road. There are well-maintained roads linking it to tourism destinations like Delhi, Sariska, Bharatpur, Deeg and Jaipur.

By Rail
The railway network connects Kherli with Delhi, Jodhpur, Mumbai and other important tourist cities of India.
As of 2011 census of India, Kherli has a population of 15,506. Males constitute 53.6% (8311/15506) of the population and females 46.4% (7195/15506). Kherli has an average literacy rate of 73%, higher than the national average of 62%: male literacy is 81%, and female literacy is 65%. In Kherli, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
